About the BVI

The British Virgin Islands (BVI), "Nature's Little Secrets", are a group of islands located approximately sixty miles east of Puerto Rico and two miles from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The BVI comprise over 40 islands, islets and cays with a total land area of only 153 sq km scattered over some 3,445 sq km of sea. Sixteen of the islands are inhabited, the largest being Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost van Dyke.

The main islands are Tortola and Virgin Gorda with Road Town (Tortola) being the capital and financial center of the BVI. Tortola is connected by a toll bridge to Beef Island, the site of our international airport which provides flights to San Juan, Puerto and St Thomas, US Virgin Islands connecting to countries worldwide.
