About the BVI

The islands boast two thriving economies, tourism and offshore financial services.  Since user-friendly legislation with minimal regulations was introduced by the BVI in 1984, the BVI has rapidly become the premier offshore corporate domicile with over 500,000 International Business Companies registered with the Companies Registry. The BVI has established an international presence and good reputation in the offshore industry. The Territory's laws are among the most advanced and flexible to be found in any of the offshore financial centers. The BVI is used as a true financial center, as corporate services, banking services, re-invoicing, accounting, mutual funds, captive insurance companies and legal services can be provided here in the BVI.
